Frysville Farms is a family operated farm that has been servicing our community and nation since 1783 here on the same 200 plus acre farm. The youngest member of our firm, currently in a leadership role, represents the ninth generation of continuous operation. Historically the family ran a grist mill, making flour and livestock feeds, a distillery producing rye whiskey, a creamery, producing butter and cheese as well as a poultry and livestock farm. The distillery closed down in the 1880’s and the grist mill and creamery closed down in 1918.
In 1955 we began growing hybrid poplar trees and progressed into the greenhouse production of annuals, perennials, vegetable plants and hanging baskets in the 1960’s. Today we sell the market both at the retail and wholesale levels and bring fifty years of experience and expertise to both of these markets.
